The Futon King started life after owner Mike McCready purchased the bankrupt stock from Futon Design, one of the biggest Futon suppliers in Europe.

By keeping contact and working closely with their suppliers and manufacturers we began to design Futon Sofa Beds,  quality furniture - at reasonable prices.

Our products come from near and far. The solid oak Futon beds for example start off in the sustainable Rubberwood plantations of Malaysia. Where as the Metal beds are all produced in China by our experienced specialist manufacturer.

We have spent five years sourcing our mattresses from all over Europe and Asia only to find that, for the quality we insist on  . . . . we must make them ourselves. That’s why we say, our mattresses will never be beaten for price or quality.

We at The Futon King realise that a lot of people when making a substantial purchase may prefer to speak to a person more so than order on line. They may have a question about colours, materials or delivery.

 We try our best to be near a phone Mon to Sat from 10am till 8pm. If we miss your call we will gladly call you back. And forget about, THE HARD SELL, we don’t employ sales people, only a few helpful, multi-task all rounders.

During the years we have found that it’s so easy to fall at the last hurdle. To this end we have a choice of tried and tested courier companies. Mistakes can happen but we at The Futon King have fine tuned our delivery service to try and satisfy your needs.
